Translation: Romeo & Juliet

I am scared of the consequences and are thinking about the future and what my faith will be tried so hard but couldn’t get it right so it’s like a dream. I now know when my death is and I am going to die before I am old of a hated life I can feel it in my chest and my hart I know I’m going to die but I will face my fate because I’m going to direct my sail because I am a gentalman.

  1. This is a good attempt at translating this passage, Kain.

The last part relates to the words “He that hath steerage of my course, direct my sail” and I think this is a reference to God being in control of his life – and Romeo surrendering to his control – like a ship being directed by the helmsman.

This is the metaphor I’d like you to explore in your paragraph. Remember, if you need an example of how this is done, you can look at the example on the class website

    – you can also ask me directly for help.
